While on a brief visit to Sicily, the winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature Luigi Pirandello (Servillo) has an unexpected experience which leads to him meeting two singular theatre characters, Onofrio Principato (Ficarra) and Sebastiano Vella (Picone), amateur thesps who are auditioning for a new show alongside other actors from their am-dram group. This encounter between the brilliant author of "Six Characters in Search of an Author" and the ragtag theatrical group will turn out to be the source of countless surprises.
Judas, a wealthy playboy living in Hong Kong, is obsessed with snakes. His apartment is full of them, and he treats them as if they were his children. One night Judas' brother persuades him to accompany him to see a dance act at a nightclub. Judas is astounded to see that the act consists of a beautiful Asian woman who dances nude while holding a python. He is immediately smitten, and winds up hiring her to take care of his snakes while he's away on business. However, things start to take a sinister turn.
June 1982, Sicily. While Italians dream of winning the World Cup, two adolescents dream of living their love story without fear. Gianni 17, is bullied because of his homosexuality but his life changes when he meets by accident Nino 16, a captivating and innocent boy. The profound friendship they develop will without embarrassment turn into love, as they start working together for Nino’s father, shooting fireworks. When their bond is discovered by their families, the consequences are as violent as the times and mores are conservative. The two teenagers are separated by force but ready to challenge everything and everyone, convinced their love can defeat death.
I saw this film twice on my first trip to Italy (my first European trip, so it already was magical) and loved it, which was high praise, since I'd only been studying Italian for a few months, on my own. As I remember, it's the story of a man in an old actors home who wins a lottery, and runs away with a pretty worker from the home. He is taken advantage of, I remember, but exactly how...? I have looked for this film on video, and I think United Artists may offer it, but perhaps only in Europe. I would love to see it again...Ugo Tognazzi was a wonderful actor, and expressed many things simultaneously, as he did in La Cage Aux Folles. Lucky you if you can see the movie. I was in love with my Primo [Italian] Amore at the time, so perhaps memory has sweetened recollection. But I think it was lots of fun to watch. I found this film one of the saddest ones which I've ever seen. Dino Risi is a brilliant director and made a great film which shows the aging. Ugo Tognazzi plays the actor who feels too young to be in an "old actor's house". He just can't stand the rules and the other old people so he escape with a young girl. The sad part comes from here because the girl wants her freedom, doesn't love the man and cheats him with other guys. In fact she never told the man that she loved him.

伊格纳齐奥（图里·费罗 Turi Ferro 饰）的妻子早逝，他独自抚养着三个孩子尼诺（亚历桑德罗·莫莫 Alessandro Momo 饰）、露西安娜（蒂娜·奥蒙特 Tina Aumont 饰）和帕西诺（Stefano Amato 饰）长大。某日，伊格纳齐奥聘用了一位名叫安其拉（劳拉·安托妮莉 Laura Antonelli 饰）的女佣打理家务，这位安其拉拥有着天使的外貌和魔鬼的身材，在家中掀起了阵阵的涟漪。 随着时间的推移，伊格纳齐奥深深的爱上了安其拉，与此同时，他的儿子尼诺亦对安其拉诸多骚扰。终于，忍无可忍的安其拉决定给少不更事的尼诺来点“教训”，就这样，在安其拉的引导下，尼诺初尝了云雨的滋味。最终，安其拉还是嫁给了伊格纳齐奥，成为了尼诺的继母。
