Victor, an unemployed film director, his wife just died and left him a 9-year-old son. The difficulties depressed him so much and he became a drunk. The alcoholism was the only way to allow him to escape into the LaLaLand, the drunken illusions had become so real that he evolved into a great dreamer, telling wonderful stories to his son. His drunkenness also made him a would-be director who thought he himself actually directed those fantastic stories he told his son.

In her first onscreen adventure, journalist/photographer Mae Jordan (known to her readers as "Emanuelle") travels to Africa on assignment. Questions of her own racial and sexual identity come to a head as she observes the troubled marriage of her hosts, Ann and Gianni Danieli. Matters are complicated further when Emanuelle finds herself in affairs with both of them, after which she flees Africa, only to be persued by Gianni, who had earlier rejected her and ridiculed her advances.

Claudia and Maria, roam the streets of the city of Guatemala. Claudia works at a call center and is uninterested in the world around her. She lives with her activist grandfather, who tries to persuade her to join his cause. Maria unlike Claudia, is more spontaneous and lives with her mother in the outskirts of the city. The chaotic streets are filled with common stories of abuse, unforgiving police officers, and charming secret corners. Everything changes one night when they are attacked by three men. Although they manage to escape, Claudia is faced with the dilemma of choosing revenge or listening to her grandfather’s advice.

The synopsis introduces Montse (played by Emma Vilarasau), who is very excited because she is about to spend a weekend with the whole family at her house in Cadaqués, on the Costa Brava. She has been divorced for a long time, her ex has a new partner and her children have grown up and are living their lives without paying much attention to her. But nothing and nobody can take away her spirits or her excitement. She has been waiting for this moment for too long and has been dreaming of it. This weekend will be perfect... even if she has to burn everything to the ground to make it so.
Fiesta en la madriguera tells the story of Tochtli, a boy who likes hats, dictionaries, samurais, guillotines, and the French. And now, all he wants is a new animal for his private zoo: a Namibian pygmy hippo. HIs father, Yolcaut, is willing to satisfy his every whim, even if that whim is an endangered exotic animal. Because Yolcaut will always manage.
